About the Foundation

Founded in February 2008, the Rest A While Equine Rescue Foundation seeks private ranches and rescue ranches to join our compassionate care network of people with the ability to provide protective care to horses, donkeys and mules suffering from abuse, neglect, abandonment and potential slaughter.

Debbi Vienna, president and founder, began with the hope of creating a go-to organization for any horse situation whether it be placement or financial trouble, the equine community is in need of a horse 911.

With the community's support we can make a change in the placing and treatment of these gentle creatures.
